Pretty shocked at the negative reviews as we are 2 born and bred Malaysians who came with our extended families and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the well priced lunch and thought it to be delicious and authentic. We ordered roti chanai (dipping curry was excellent), curry puff (decent), satay (above average, could have been more charred and fatty) and ice coffee and tea. For the main meal we split the laksa (lacked some prawn flavor but understandable to make it more palatable to non locals), char koay teow (very good), hainan chicken rice (great tho chicken could be juicier) and beef rendang (arguably the favorite). Service was quick and attentive and we met the chef from Kuala Lumpur afterwards and he was gracious and kind. We did take out another night of wonton soup and wonton noodle soup and again authentic and good though it was noodle heavy and we did not prefer the texture of the wontons. Still, we would definitely come back on our next visit to Vegas. It certainly beats many of the options closer to the Strip.
Best Malaysian food I have tasted. All the food we ordered are super tasty and very yummy. The servers are very friendly and welcoming. Portions are a bit smaller compared to others but the delicious taste makes up for it. We will come back again everytime we are in the area.
Super friendly, attentive, and nice clean atmosphere. Never had Malaysian cuisine, but definitely going back. There's a sauce for all the dishes we ordered, and they were all different. Loved them all! Food was a little greasy for me since I don't eat a lot of greasy food, but if you like that kind of food and are open to new flavors, check this place out.
I finally had an opportunity to try this Malaysian restaurant. Located in the Shanghai Plaza in Chinatown town, this restaurant is tucked in the rear corner of the plaza. The restaurant has great spacious seating. The staff is warm and welcoming, they came around to make sure our drinks were never empty. As for the food, authentic Malaysian. Very tasty and worth the visit! I can't wait to visit again!
Being a Malaysian, I look out for restaurants that serve authentic Malaysian dishes and zi heard great things about this place. We ordered a few things to try and introduce them to our friends here who aren't familiar with Malaysian dishes. We ordered Roti Canai, curry puff, belacan kangkung, beef rendang, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Nasi Lemak, chicken, and beef satay. And Bobo cha cha for dessert. Everything was almost exactly like what we have back home with all the spices and aromas that are unique to the region. However, there are few exceptions. The pickled daikon and canned pineapple pieces aren't authentic. One thing we were disappointed was the hainanese chicken rice where the meat was dry. The poached chicken should be moist and tender. Will definitely be back to try out other dishes.
It was my first time trying Malaysian cuisine and I loved every bite! This restaurant is located in a busy plaza with tight parking. No reservations required. The interior has a very clean and welcoming vibe. Service was a bit slow since they only had two waiters, but they were nice. We ordered the mango chicken and a curry dish. Very unique and blended flavors. I would recommend if you wanted something new!
Great little place at Shanghai Plaza in Las Vegas. The mango chicken was my favorite! Super tasty, not greasy and very affordable. The beef rendang was delicious as well. Had a very decent menu. Both orders came with rice.
